Physical DescriptionTransparent amber non-lead glass; cire perdue casting. Small rectangular plaque with inset lozenge shaped scene in high relief of putti drinking and playing within a vineyard, surrounded by a foliate band decorated with a set of pan pipes-top/center, and unidentical masks on opposite short sides; scene is framed in low relief border of narrow parallel inscribed lines crossing at the corners, overall matte surface; edges and back are polished; unsigned.Provenance
