Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, applied; ground and polished. Bowl blown, perhaps in mold, with rim finished at glory hole; foot blown from separate gather, finished at glory hole; leaf-like elements made from separate bits, hot worked and applied. Bowl with foot; bell-shaped; rim outsplayed with rounded lip; wall curves inward and tapers before curving in sharply, narrowing and descending to bottom. Hollow foot with shallow, dome-like profile and plain rounded edge; at center, cut and ground depression which has removed pontil scar. Attached to foot and lowest part of bowl, four leaf- or feather-like elements, each of which is narrow at bottom and swells as it rises, becoming thicker and wider, and curls over at top.
