Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, brass, green jadeite; cast, cut, polished; ovoid shape in form of bug; oval shaped punty cut into top of back, punty is intersected by a cut groove delineating head from body; a second cut groove down the back of the body begins at the punty and is perpendicular to the first, dividing the body in half; each half has two cut punties, one large and one small; base flat with a brass attachment that hooks into ends of cut grooves; attachment cast into shape of flat stylized bug legs that converge at a ring with a disc of jadite in the middle, the piece of jadeite is directly under the oval shaped cut punty on top; "Steuben" signed near edge of base under head.
