Physical DescriptionColorless, opaque white, yellow, blue-green, transparent pink and blue non-lead glasses; blown in three bubbles, connected while hot. Vessel with elongated narrow neck and flattened spherical body; irregular neck opening has been ground and polished, neck of colorless overlaid with vertical matte stripes of opaque white, yellow, blue-green and transluscent pink and blue joined hot to body of colorless; decorated over lower two-thirds with "pick-up" decoration of fragments in same colors as neck with rough matte texture; no pontil, base ground and polished flat; inscribed on base in script and block letters: "J.P. Holmes BG89/Organic Vase/Series".Provenance
