Physical DescriptionVase, "Théhéran (Tehran)". Colorless glass; mold-blown, acid-etched. Miniature spherical vessel with wide short collared neck and slightly flared rim; overall acid-etched body decoration in low relief of four large circular medallions enclosing symmetrical design of four birds with fanned tails on foliated branches (depiction of birds is different within each medallion), each pendant between medallions also decorated with a bird; background has matte surface; slightly concave flattened circular base, no pontil.
