Physical DescriptionTransparent yellow-green non-lead scrap glass, yellow-green glaze, terra cotta colored clay; metallic silver; clay formed by hand, bisque fired, glazed on one side and set with broken colored glass then fired again; hammered silver wire; adhesive used to attach wire to clay. Ring with large ovoid glass "stone" of crazed yellow-green glass on thickly glazed ceramic pad; ends of silver wire mount embedded in short ends of ceramic pad, parts of wire hammered flat in some places, wire sweeps across "stone" in a large loop then spirals swirls around to form three circle finger ring (space between each circle); impressed on back of clay: "S (then undistinguishable and obscured)".
