Physical DescriptionWhiskey Jug and Stopper in "Snail" Pattern. Colorless lead glass, silver; blown, cut, engraved. Squat cylindrical shape with mouth cut into a hexagon, applied handle from mouth to shoulder, engraved pattern of wheat fronds on upper body and cut snail-shell like pattern on lower body, flat circular base, polished. Silver over glass stopper has tapering cylindrical shank, and dome-shaped silver over the glass with "W" on top and engraved silver scrolls on sides.
