Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar, Lid, Screw and Rubber. Aquamarine non-lead glass; mold-blown, pressed, wrought iron. Cylindrical shape with V-shaped groove in collar for seal; mold seams on each side from neck to base; obverse embossed: "MILLVILLE/ATMOSPHERIC/FRUIT JAR" forming an oval; reverse embossed: "WHITALL'S PATENT/JUNE 18TH 1861"; iron yoke with thumbscrew in center to tighten.
