Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar with Lid. Aquamarine non-lead glass; mold-blown, pressed. (a) Cylindrical shape with U-shaped groove in collar for seal; mold seams on each side from neck to base; obverse embossed: "MILLVILLE/ ATMOSPHERE/FRUIT JAR" in oval; reverse embossed: "WHITALL'S PATENT/JUNE 18TH 1861" in an oval; plain base. (b) Pressed circular lid with embossed top: "WHITALL'S PATENT/JUNE 18TH 1861"; yoke missing.
