Physical DescriptionColorless glass with translucent pale amethyst, gray, and sepia glass enamels; blown in a soft sand mold, enameled, fired, sandblasted, engraved. Elongated conical vessel with interior and exterior matte finish; undulating rim decorated on exterior edge with painted serrated band (pale gray with pink details), rim flares out sharply at an angle from irregular dimpled body decorated with non-identical enameled designs consisting of loosely painted circular pink center with sepia details partially surrounded by 3/4 border of gray radiating rays (no rays along top edge of pink); overall scattered small engraved spirals and cross-hatching; mottled matte surface with whitish patches; narrow circular base ground flat, no pontil; inscribed on base: "552/Me[illegible]/Lowe".
