Physical DescriptionClear glass with very few bubbles and impurities; free-blown, enameled and gilded. Beaker; on the obverse predominantly in black tones and gold, the full length figure of Louis XIV, in stately attire, on the right a pedestal with cushion on which he leans his staff which he has in his left hand, on the cushion scepter and crown; on the reverse the coat-of-arms of France, underneath: "LUDOVICUS XIV REX GALLIAE et NAVARRAE 1664"; dark bands around bottom and rim.Provenance
