Physical DescriptionPyrex Shirred Egg Dish. Colorless with yellowish cast, non-lead borosilicate glass; pressed. Low circular dish with walls tapering in towards base, narrow inset flange on inside of thick curved rim, two small flat handles with tri-scalloped edges (center scallop is widest) extend horizontally from rim, walls curve to wide flattened base molded with inset, slightly concave circle; overall mold and chill marks; molded in low relief circle at center of base (reading through interior): interlocked CG monogram/PYREX/interlocked CG monogram; molded in low relief at center underside of one handle and reading through glass: PYREX.Provenance
