Physical Description(a) Colorless, with golden tint, non-lead borosilicate glass; pressed; oval-shaped, oblong basin with walls tapering in towards base; curved rim; two handles; flat oblong base, Pyrex ® trademark molded into center; molded in low relief on underside of handles “A-A” and “642-” (b) slightly domed oval-shaped cover with center extended to form tall flared conical handle topped with solid button-shaped knob with nipple, remainder of handle is hollow with lower half stepped out and curving into cover top; decorative engraved design of stars and leaves encircles the conical handle in the center; molded in low relief on top surface of the cover “PYREX” and “633C-OR-642 C” (c) oval-shaped, oblong metal carrier; two decorative handles and four feet; decorative floral design which was cut away from the metal encircles the carrier; sticker on interior surface of carrier “MARKIHALER”; written on a piece of tape on bottom surface of carrier “ROGERS”; etched into bottom surface of carrier “FARBERWARE/ BROOKLYN, NY”.
