Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with slightly grayish tint; blown. Cylindrical shape; sides enameled in polychrome with seated emperor, crowned, and holding an orb and scepter, flanked by four electors on his left side; three on the right, each below inscribed titles: "TRIER, COLLN, MENTZ, BOEHMEN, PFALTZ, SACH/SEN"; and "BRANDEN/BVRG", dated "1616"; on the reverse with stylized floral motif with lilies of the valley; band of green and white enamel dots at top, with gilding; three horizontal rings at base; white radial dashes on foot rim; underside of base inscribed in black enamel (script): "Th. Wieseler/ Nurnberg"; base with slight kick; trailed foot rim; rough pontil mark on underside of base.Provenance
