Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, aluminosilicate, borosilicate, stainless steel, white metal; mold blown by machine, pressed: a) cylindrical shape; machine finished rim with pinched and curled lip; top of body rounded in; body has a channel around its circumference about one third of the way down from the rim to the base; metal band with latch in channel, band has "STAINLESS" and PYREX FLAMEWARE trademark stamped into it; handle attached to body by metal band, "PYREX/14" and "7824H" pressed into handle; flat base with PYREX FLAMEWARE trademark including item number "7824B" pressed into it; b) circular cover; flange; rim of greater diameter than cylindrical insert; old catalog number "198.81a" inscribed underneath rim; "78 C" and "C-DD" pressed into insert, insert has two semicircular tabs, one opposite the other; underside of lid has four bumps inside raised scallop edged circle; "PYREX" and "MADE IN U.S.A." pressed into underside; c) thin cylindrical shape with wide base; machine finished rim; knob about halfway down stem from rim; domed base with machine finished rim and PYREX trademark, old catalog number "198.81c" inscribed on base bottom; d) cylindrical shape; machine finished rims; short neck, neck rounds out to body; old catalog number "198.81b" inscribed on body near bottom; e) circular shaped filter; shallow dish with straight sides; rim of dish has three upright tabs, tabs' ends are bent out; dish bottom mostly flat, star shape indented into it, bottom perforated with tiny holes, a hollow tube is attached perpendicularly to hole in center of dish base; "PAT.
