Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white metal, and red stone (garnet?); pressed, polished, cast; in shape of crab; top humped, tapering down toward the rear; top decorated with opposing sets of curved frosted grooves that have bumps on the interior; two red stone eyes in white metal settings at front of crab; front side of body curved, adjacent sides tapered back to squared off rear end with rounded corners; sides of crab body set into a bottomless white metal mount cast into shape of crab legs and claws, claws tucked in under front of body; base flat.Provenance
