Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown sheet glass, reverse gilded and painted. Flat, oval sheet of glass, with beveled rim; decorated on the back side with a black silhouette portrait of a woman facing dexter; the dress finely detailed; on a gold background; plain oval and black borders; in an oval recess in a rectangular veneered and inlaid frame with oval back board (held in place with a bent brass strip).Provenance
