Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead borosilicate glass; cardboard; mold-blown, by machine; a) cylindrical shaped bottle; machine finished rim; short cylindrical neck; upper portion of body tapered out to shoulders, "4-----03" molded into one side; lower portion of body divided into six straight sided panels with rounded tops and bottoms, "3/2/1" and seven measuring marks molded into first panel, "54N" molded into and white circular sticker with "$12" written on it stuck to second, "PY" and "T.M.REG." molded into third, "P/Y/R/E/X/U.S.PAT." molded into fourth, "EX" and "OFF." molded into fifth, and "20" molded into sixth; depressed flat circular base with "MADE/IN/U.S.A." molded into center; b) hexagonal box; vertical graduated turquoise stripes on top and upper quarter of object; grey band with manufacturing information printed on it in middle, "-boil me/chill me-/see if I care" printed twice on opposite sides, "4 oz. NARROW NECK/PYREX/T.M. Reg. U.S. Pat. Off./NURSING BOTTLE/CORNING GLASS WORKS CORNING, N.Y." printed twice on remaining opposite sides; vertical graduated red stripes on lower portion and base of box; base flat with "PRINTED IN U.S.A." and "MADE IN U.S.A." printed on it; top and base have hinge flaps (some now missing from top).
