Physical DescriptionColorless, opaque white non-lead glass; pressed, mold-blown. (a) Pressed base with hollow cylindrical foot and four solid columns supporting scalloped top rim. "PATENTED MARCH 20 1883 JULY 25 1882" in raised letters just below columns; circular flat space between columns; (b) mold-blown cylindrical font with brass kerosene burner and brass collar and cap on filler hole; (c) mushroom shaped pressed shade support; (d) opaque white mold-blown dome shaped shade; (e) brass ring supporting eleven glass prisms.
