Physical DescriptionPaperweight with Butterfly on Flower. Colorless, polychrome lead glass; paperweight, lampwork. Domed, circular form, enclosing a butterfly hovering over a white daisy; the butterfly with colorful wing made from flattened millefiori canes backed with opaque white; the body transparent amethyst, and containing a double-series opaque filigree twist; the head black, the antennae blue, and the eyes light blue; hovering above a multi-petaled white daisy with central star honeycomb cane; white bud, green stem, and nine green leaves; polished pontil mark; paper label inscribed "129" in ink.
