Physical DescriptionLead (?) glass; pressed, encased; (A) black glass; pressed. Thick, flat shape, silhouette of a striding rooster, with arching tail feathers and erect head; one side rough ground, the remainder rippled. (B) Black, opaque white, and transparent dark blue glass; overlay. hick, flat, cylindrical shape, silhouette of a black rooster, coated with opaque white, and ringed by a scalloped blue band, with the figure running throughout; both faces polished. (C) Black, opaque white, and transparent dark blue glass. Long, cylindrical rod, enclosing the silhouette of a black rooster, encased in opaque white, and clad with a scalloped blue coating; both ends polished. (D) Black, white, blue, red, and colorless glass. Bundle of long, cylindrical rods; a ring of 15 red, white and colorless "tubes" encircling a large rod enclosing a black rooster silhouette in opaque white, with a scalloped blue border; bound in two places with brass wire; ends of the red rods cleanly sheared, faces of the inner rod polished. (E) Pink, white, black, blue, and colorless glass. Long, thin, rod; enclosing black silhouette of a rooster in opaque white, within a blue scalloped border, encircled by a ring of pink and white tubular rods; both faces sheared cleanly.
