Physical DescriptionDecanter and Stopper. Colorless non-lead glass with opaque white "lace"; free-blown with applied and tooled decoration and gilding. Fashioned from single gather into bulbous squat body, long shoulder sloping into long cylindrical neck with narrow flange, and with hollow circular foot with small rough pontil mark; over-all diamond- lattice (lace) design formed by narrow opaque white ribbons and with tiny air bubble at center of each diamond; applied and gilded decoration: gilded and crimped collar at base of neck, eight wide-spaced gilded and crimped straps from collar to small strawberry prunts at meeting of wide swags formed by two heavy clear threads on edge of shoulder. Matching hollow "onion" stopper, gilded strawberry prunt at top, gilded and crimped band at point of greatest diameter.
