Physical DescriptionTransparent colorless glass with amber tint and few bubbles; wear marks; blown, hot-applied decorative elements, enameled, engraved, and gilded. Solid light amber conical foot with ground pontil mark, walls of body outspreading to become vertical at top to form a crimped quintefoil rim, thus giving the bowl a blossom-like appearance; sunflower-like motifs in yellow, brown and lilac with thick blobs in the middle of the blossoms, the remaining parts of the body heavily "frosted" and tinted in lilac through acid-etching, rim and ring around foot gilded, on base the signature in red: "Cristallerie Emile Galle", surrounding a leaf-like motif.
