Physical DescriptionTransparent pink mottling (appearing as overall pink background) on colorless, heavily cased in colorless, opaque white and pale blue, metallic gold and silver glasses, metal leaf (gold and platinum); blown with "pick-up" decoration into molds, (metal appears to be sealed-lacquer?). Stacking box with three square sections with chamfered corners, each section increasing slightly in depth towards base; overall decoration of crackled pieces of gold and silver leaf with scattered chips of opaque white and pale blue; (a) flattened base section has flat (ground) rim, (b) mid-section has flat flange rim (ground) and inset flange base (ground), (c) slightly domed top section forms lid; no pontils; inscribed in script on base: "K. Fujita".
