Physical DescriptionColorless glass with black and semi-opaque blue (several shades), orange and white enamels; blown, enameled (see REMARKS), rim ground and polished. Vase: rim curves outward and upward with flat, ground and polished lip; very short neck; tall shoulder which curves outward and downward; wall curves outward to greatest diameter and then tapers to bottom; base plain with slightly concave underside. Decorated from top of rim to bottom of wall with all over pattern of colored enamels with black outlines: overlapping, jagged rock-like shapes, each of which has from three to five bands of color ranging from light blue (smallest, innermost bands) to dark blue (largest, outermost bands); emerging from behind them, scattered over surface at irregular intervals, cloud-like elements with scalloped outlines, each containing three orange and white bands. Marks: at bottom of wall, on light blue, cartouche containing "EUNE" written vertically and read from top to bottom; on underside of base, in black enamel, "MADE IN FRANCE" (legible with difficulty) and "MADE IN FRANCE".
