Physical DescriptionCompote with a Crown Paperweight Base. Colorless, green, blue, white lead glasses; fused murrine; furnace-worked and cased; blown; cut. Shallow, circular bowl, with everted rim and trailed white filigree on the edge; blue overlay on colorless, with cut rounded panels on the sides; tall, panel-cut, baluster stem, with capstan below; domed, circular, hollow "crown" paperweight base, incorporating green- blue-and-white spiral tapes alternating with white filigree twists, with a millefiori cane on top; polished, concave base with central drilled hole.
