Physical DescriptionColorless glass with transparent blue and transparent bluish-green decoration; blown from two gathers (bowl and stem with foot), trailed, rim finished at glory hole, mark acid-etched; goblet: bowl with plain rounded rim and curving side; short hollow stem which bulges at top and then tapers; very shallow, hollow conical foot; small pontil mark. Trailed decoration: on body, fourteen trails (seven blue alternating with seven bluish-green) radiating from center of base and extending up wall for about one-fifth to nearly two-thirds of height, each trail being pointed at inner end and flaring toward outer end, which is rounded; on edge of foot, narrow bluish-green trail. Marked on underside of foot: "SALVIATI & C. VENEZIA" arranged in semi-circle around center.Provenance
