Physical DescriptionTranslucent white, colorless, opaque "black", and bluish-green glass; (1) translucent blue and translucent green canes; (2) translucent pale orange-pink, translucent blue and translucent yellow canes; (3) translucent pale pink, translucent blue and translucent green canes; and (4) translucent yellow, translucent blue, translucent green and translucent mauve canes; white gather partly inflated, dipped in colorless and inflated further; some mosaic glass canes picked up and bluish-green trail applied; marvered; inflated again; trails applied to rim and foot. Vase with rim slightly everted with lip finished with "black" trail; slender body with wall which curves outward as it descends, before curving inward at bottom; concave base with applied "black" trail as foot-ring; pontil mark consisting of circle of five small scars. Applied decoration on one side of body: curvilinear bluish-green stem extending from shortly below rim to shortly above base with mosaic glass leaves and flowers on either side: leaves are represented by canes of type 1 and vary in shape; flowers are represented by canes of types 2 (flower with six orange-pink petals and blue and yellow center), 3 (flowers with six pink petals and blue and green center), and 4 (pansies).Provenance
