Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; cast, cut, engraved, polished. Spherical shape with flat base; object cast solid with negative interior areas of figures modeled "in the round", figures extend deeply into interior, consist of a small upper half of male figure extending upside down from top, lower half of torso extends upside down from flattened base and flanked on one side by a negative cast face with positive hand on side together holding a small seated female nude with crossed legs facing exterior, other side of half-torso flanked by a positive bust of a male figure with side hand supporting seated male nude turned facing exterior; cast to only half depth from surface (male face in centered lower foreground), above mask a large circular lens has been cut into surface and polished, lens flanked on left by a negative impression of a standing female nude with radiating linear aura around head, on right figure of male nude with arms held behind back and legs cut off at knees, modeled in positive relief within an inset area of the surface, rear surface with upper torso of male nude with outstretched arms and radiating flowing locks of hair, torso flanked on both sides by pairs of male and female figures curved and touching at heads and feet to form a circle; non-modeled areas of surface have been polished; signed near edge of base: "KK 84/14/99".
