Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, pattern-molded, applied silver filigree. (a) Baluster shape with vertical ribbing; flared rim; gently swelling neck above a globular body; applied arching spout; applied loop handle, curled at the lower terminal; applied, flared foot; rough pontil mark; elaborate silver filigree in patterns of stylized flowers and foliage on the handle, spout, around the neck, at the base of the body, and on the foot; applied zigzag band around the foot rim. (b) Solid, globular finial above a flat disk; cylindrical shank, broken clearly at the tip; covered in silver filigree, in a style related to that on the body; attached with a chain to the filigree on the handle of (a).
