Physical DescriptionGlass: natural green tint, pink, green non-lead glass; base: brown, black, ochre, blue, fuschia; cut pieces of float glass, layered with copper in between, fused in a plaster/flint investment that has been sprinkled with enamels, cleaned, polished; base is wood colored with pencil and pastel, laminated to slate. Vertical, shallow sculpture with glass upper section inserted into taller wood and slate base; top: pieces of flat glass are arranged in the general shape of a hill with jagged sections protruding along rounded edge, flat "front" side has green/brown background and overall scattering of laminated stylized flames or trees encrusted with matte pink enamel, one raised section near flange enameled green, glass extends beyond base of "mountain" to form a flange, small copper airplane imbedded between layers on reverse side; base "front" has inset reflected image of brown "rose" slate mountain in relief, edged in blue pastel, laminated on black slate, narrow sides and "back" reveal irregular lamination and pencil/pastel abstract drawing.Provenance
