Physical DescriptionCrescent shaped cow's horn with narrow end shaved down so that a capstan shaped collar is just below end; wider end still has outer layer of horn which is engraved with a glass furnace, in front of which is a glassmaker's chair, a glassblower in checked trousers with a bottle on his blowpipe and then a cow and a rooster which faces the back of the glass furnace. In the narrow part of the horn above this series is a bird, a dog chasing a rabbit and a rectangle with D.S. 1830. The wide end of the horn is closed with a carved wooden end; a leather handle is attached to that.
