Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper. Colorless and inclusions snowflake and transparent red non-lead glass, green and white jadeite stone, black plastic, cork, ivory; blown, overlay, carved. (a) Flattened, ovoid form; colorless, with bubbles and tiny white specks throughout, with red overlay; short, cylindrical neck with flat rim and circular opening for a stopper; rounded shoulders and sides; the red overlay cameo carved to leave six-petaled mallow flowers in relief on both faces, mask handles with rings on the sides; carved red oval foot rim; paper label inscribed "734" in ink. (b) Mottled green and white jadeite stone cap; mounted on a black plastic disk, cork stopper and slender brown-stained ivory spoon with painted oval spatulate bowl.Provenance
