Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper. Opalescent white, blue, turquoise, yellow, green, and red glasses, ivory, stone, cork, black plastic (?); blown, cased (padding), carved. (a) Flattened, ovoid form; multi-colored pad overlays on opalescent white; short, straight neck with flat rim and circular opening for a stopper; the pad overlays cameo-carved as a stylized blue tree hanging over a turquoise blue boat carrying three people; a yellow horse and green-and-white striated horse on the opposite side, with a marbled red rock, yellow plant, bright red rocky ground, and two red mask handles; red oval foot rim; paper label inscribed in ink "70./556" on the bottom. (b) Domed button of carnelian mounted on a black plastic (?) disk, tapered cork stopper, and stained dark brown slender ivory spoon with oval spatulate bowl.
