Physical DescriptionWinged Goblet. Colorless, with grayish tinge; translucent turquoise blue. Blown, mold-blown; applied, tooled. Eight-lobed bowl with alternating round and pointed lobes, with fire-polished rim and rounded base; attached by merese to mold-blown stem with ball knop above tapering section with upper half of straight ribs and lower half (and knop) of twisted ribs; joined by glue-bit to shallow, blown foot with fire-polished rim and pontil mark. Tapering stem is decorated with two applied ear-shaped wings of blue glass, with trailed-on and pincered colorless glass pulled down toward foot as “legs.”
