Physical DescriptionColorless and transparent cobalt blue lead glass; cast. Circular upper rim; cylindrical body tapers abruptly to short solid cylindrical foot which is tri-symmetrically divided by three pillar-like protrusions; a frieze of "V" shapes alternating with Carder's monogram " " encircles upper area of body; a second frieze with the statement "VITA * BREVIS * ARS * LONGA" encircles body just below the first; the remaining body surface consists of alternating "V" and "O" shapes above a frieze of children playing which encircles body; satin finish; wheel engraved on base: "F Carder/1957".
