Physical DescriptionFragment of a Floral Plaque. Translucent greyish medium blue matrix with assorted canes of opaque red, opaque yellow, opaque white, translucent green, translucent yellow-green and translucent pale amethyst glass; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Thick plaque of amethyst matrix, no edges preserved, backed with turbid yellow-green glass. An irregular yellow form in an amethyst matrix with traces of green radiating from it, also at least five large spheres, the lower portion a triangle of light green glass subsequently cased in white, yellow and two shades of amethyst.
