Rim plain, with rounded lip; upper wall (Th. 0.1 cm) descends vertically. Decorated on exterior only. Small parts of one narrow band and one broad, horizontal band of ornament, both presumably continuous, survive: upper, narrow band (H. 1.5 cm) is just below rim and contains Kufic inscription, of which two complete and two fragmentary letters remain; two parallel lines divide upper and lower bands; lower band probably contains vegetal scroll, of which pair of curving stems and small part of one other motif survive.
