Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Colorless, with narrow horizontal bubble (L. 1.5 cm); decorated in gold shading to brown. Blown; stained. Fragment of roughly hemispherical bowl. Rim thickened, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.15-0.2 cm) tapers, with slightly concave profile, before angle becomes shallower at bottom of fragment. Decorated on both sides. On outside: horizontal stripe (W. 0.5 cm) on top and outside of rim, and narrow horizontal line 0.4 cm below it. On inside: pair of horizontal stripes (W. 0.25 cm and 0.3 cm) separate two bands of ornament; upper, narrow band extends to 1.6 cm below rim and consists of zigzag stripe defining broad isosceles triangles, those with apexes pointing up alternating with those with apexes pointing down, each containing dot within V-shaped motif; lower, broad band contains part of unidentified overall linear ornament.Provenance
