Physical DescriptionPaperweight Advertising Railroads. Colorless, white non-lead glasses; pressed, enameled; photographic emulsion applied to glass, backed with opaque white enamel. Rectangular shape with rounded corners; flat top surface; bottom surface slightly indented; design depicts a black cross imprinted with "NEW YORK / AND / NEW ENGLAND / RAIL / ROAD" in white letters with inscription "THE WHITE TRAIN / BOSTON & NEW YORK. / Leaves at 3 P. N. (sic) Due at 9 P. M. Daily. / Parlor Cars, Royal Buffet Smokers, / Coaches and Dining Cars.", printed on back, "PAT. SEPT. 8TH 188? / BARNES & ABRAMS CO. / SYRACUSE, N.Y.".
