Physical DescriptionFragment of Beaker. Almost colorless, with greenish yellow tinge; decorated in gold, red, white, and blue. Blown; gilded, enameled. Fragment of beaker. Upper wall (Th. 0.15 cm) descends, with concave profile. Decorated on outside. Small part of single register; at top and bottom, border that consists of three narrow red lines enclosing, on outside, gilded band, and, on inside, row of very small white dots; just above upper border, small gilded zigzag line; surviving part of register itself has, at top, narrow blue band interrupted at one point by gilded spot; below it, continuous row of trefoils, each filled with blue and containing one gilded fleur-de-lis; trefoils and fleurs-de-lis have red outlines; upper part of background and lower part of outlines of trefoils are gilded; each gilded area between tops of trefoils contains small red crescent with ends pointing down; each space between bottoms of trefoils is filled with blue.
