Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with greenish yellow tinge. Blown; slant- and linear-cut. Fragment from lower wall of beaker (Th. 0.15– 0.4 cm) with straight, tapering side. Decoration apparently consisted of frieze containing overall pattern of horizontal rows of triangular and diamond-shaped panels with double linear-cut outlines. Surviving part of frieze seems to have large diamond-shaped panel flanked, at bottom, by smaller triangular panels with apexes pointing upward, and, above these, possibly by congruent triangular panels with apexes pointing downward. Diamond-shaped panel has indeterminate slant- and linear-cut motif, which is symmetrical about vertical axis. Triangular panels have simple slant- and linear-cut ornament.Provenance
