Physical DescriptionColorless or almost colorless. Blown; facet-, linear-, and slant-cut. Bottle with cylindrical body. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck tapers; shoulder has rounded profile; wall descends vertically and curves in at bottom; base plain; pontil mark irregular (L. 1.6 cm). Decorated on neck, shoulder, and wall. On neck: two continuous bands of facet-cut ornament, each with horizontal groove at top. Upper band has eight adjacent rhomboid facets creating row of chevrons, with short horizontal cuts in triangular spaces between each pair of rhomboids. Lower band has five adjacent rectangular facets with heights greater than widths. On shoulder: two continuous bands of linear-cut ornament. Upper band consists of pair of closely spaced horizontal grooves, and lower band has two more widely spaced horizontal grooves containing row of small X-shaped motifs. On wall: single register of linear- and slant-cut ornament extending from band of crosses at edge of shoulder to single horizontal groove 0.8–1.0 cm above base. Register contains symmetrical arrangement of two opposed diamond-shaped panels with double borders separated by two shallow ogival arches. Each panel contains vegetal motif shaped like fleur-de-lis, with slant-cut volutes at sides and linear-cut hatched oval at top. Each arch contains similar but broader motif, while spaces between panels and arches are filled with pairs of volutes separated by two vertical cuts.
