Physical DescriptionFragment of a Wall Revetment. Translucent and opaque glasses; mosaic glass techniques. Bands of opaque white and opaque medium blue in a translucent amethyst matrix, heavily pitted on one side, polished on the other. Fragment preserves cast lower surface and finished rounded edge which suggests it is a revetment element rather than the rim of a bowl, possibly a short segment of the elaborate first century coiled snakes.
