Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, matte finish and sepia patina on floral details; mold blown bottle, pressed stopper, acid-etched, patinated, polished. Vertical squared bottle flaring and swelling towards base, all floral decoration on stopper and bottle acid-etched and patinated sepia; pressed colorless solid mushroom-shaped stopper with raised edge decoration of stylized flowers laying end to end, deeply inset short solid ground shank (inscribed on base of shank 296/4 ); bottle has short, lipped columnar (ground) neck, ground flat and slightly beveled; at each chamfered corner the squared shoulder meets vertical bands of floral decoration extending to base, flattened sides are undecorated; slightly concave base ground and polished, inscribed 296/4; no pontil; impressed on center bottom of base in block letters: "LALIQUE"; also inscribed near one bottom base edge in script: "R. Lalique France No. 576".Provenance
