Physical DescriptionTransparent cobalt, ultramarine, orange, yellow and red non-lead glasses; black epoxy, black painted metal; fan-shape wood frame encloses cut pieces of glass, epoxy poured around glass, after setting, frame removed, fabricated metal support. Two-sided fan-shape panel of thick pieces of colored glass embedded in black epoxy background; border outlined in cobalt and ultramarine glass pieces which encircle groups of stylized fish in varying sizes of red and orange glass with yellow accents facing different directions; on one side of panel the glass extends in high relief, on the other side it is almost flush with background covered with embedded granules; extended flange of fan rests on support framework of soldered metal rods painted black fused to a flat metal disc base; inscribed on piece of glass at lower edge of fan: "KARAWINA".Provenance
