Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge; decorated in brown and brownish yellow. Blown; stained. Fragment of bowl. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.15 cm) tapers, with slightly convex profile, before bending down and in at bottom of fragment. Decorated on top of rim and on inside. On rim: narrow brown horizontal stripe. On inside, and meant to be read from inside: Kufic or pseudo-Kufic inscription in brownish yellow, evidently repetitive, probably containing al-yumn (good fortune).Provenance
