Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Almost colorless, with greenish tinge; decorated in yellow shading to brown. Blown; stained. Fragment of shallow bowl. Rim turned out and down, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.15-0.2 cm) curves down and in. Decorated on outside of rim and inside of wall. On rim: row, presumably continuous, of oval dots (L. 0.6 cm). On inside of wall: part of vegetal scroll containing Kufic inscription (H. more than 3.4 cm), also presumably continuous and repetitive, with one word: al-yumn (good fortune) or al-mann (gracious gift).
