Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Almost colorless, with green tint. Blown; pincered. Bowl: cylindrical. Rim plain, with rounded lip; upper wall vertical. Wall is decorated with at least three different pincers, all of which produced impressed decoration on both outer and inner surfaces: (1) V-shaped motif, which projects downward from rim; (2) arc with, below its highest point, vertical row of at least 11 short, horizontal lines; and (3) circle and presumably other elements. If arrangement on this fragment represents decoration of entire vessel, about six V-shaped motifs (1) were spaced at regular intervals around rim, the same number of motif (2) were positioned between and below (1), and six examples of motif (3) were directly below (1), with the circles between the ends of the arcs of (2).Provenance
