Physical DescriptionBowl with Ring-and-Dot Ornament. Almost colorless, with yellowish green tinge. Blown; pincered. Bowl: cylindrical. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall almost vertical, curving in at bottom; base plain; trace of pontil mark, which may have been removed by grinding. Pincered decoration consisted of two continuous horizontal rows of identical ring-and-dot motifs. Each row has six motifs and those in lower row are offset from those in upper row. Individual motifs are oval (H. 3.1 cm, W. 3.5 cm), with raised boss at center surrounded by impressed ring; interior of wall has deep depression opposite boss and shallow depression opposite ring.
